Mother Earth Spiritual


The earth is pierced,

The heart of the universe is wounded.

The pain is not important,

It is the potential, the promised living cosmos

That is once again lost, as if forgotten.


The earth pulses in its pain --

Those of us who have tried so long, who love God,

All of us who have lived so long, who want love,

All of us we want the earth.


We all love God,

We do not know where to turn,

We do not know how to turn with the earth.


We are turning,

We are trying, we are all trying,

We don't know what to do.

The earth does not tell us,

For we are the earth.
